amazing, amazing, amazing
The resort features a fine garden area abundant with tropical plants, adding to the serene atmosphere. I adored the open-air bath with amazing views and the relaxing outdoor swimming pool where you can lounge comfortably. The delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast provided fuel for our daily adventures, and the friendly environment made every meal enjoyable!

the hotel was nice, but who designs rooms with no working wifi and no English channels on TV? so much for a relaxing stay. I also almost gave a good review, but the pool was inaccessible during peak hours—what is that? ! expected better treatment, not just being treated like a regular guest. disappointment all around.

The gardens were a standout feature with lush tropical plants providing a serene atmosphere. The pools were fantastic, especially the hot tub. Enjoyed the spacious room with great cleanliness. However, the room lacked a bedside lamp and had no hot water during my stay. Reaching the restaurant was a bit tricky at times due to narrow paths, and the general reception could use friendlier service. Breakfast took an hour to be served, which was frustrating but the food was good. The bed could also use a more comfortable mattress. Overall, these points made the stay feel less relaxing than I hoped for.

The breakfast was a tasty delight, with eggs cooked to order and pancakes that hit the spot. The grounds were stunning—lush gardens and well-kept pools made it a dreamy oasis right off La Fortuna's busy streets where adventure waits! The staff shined with their kindness.

Everything! Tranquil gardens, diverse wildlife views, spacious family balcony room!

missingWrote a review on Sept 18room decor
The two-bedroom bungalow felt more like a basic shelter than a boutique experience—no decorations or furniture that gives it any character, just a plastic sofa and no views. The location of some rooms outside the main building, accessed by a narrow gravel path, feels more utilitarian than inviting. Maintenance issues cropped up too, disrupting pool access during morning hours, and some facilities like the air conditioning seemed outdated and loud.

We really enjoyed our stay in our private bungalow, and the breakfast every morning was delicious and a great way to start the day. The outdoor swimming pool and the relaxing garden area were perfect spots for unwinding after our adventures. The only downside was a bit of humidity in the room, but overall it didn't take away from our experience. 😊

quiet oasis with great breakfast, but slow service
The location was convenient yet secluded, offering a peaceful retreat by the soothing sound of the river. The spacious room provided a nice place to unwind, and the outdoor swimming pool was an excellent spot to relax after a day of exploring. Additionally, I particularly enjoyed the lush garden view outside my room. The breakfast each morning was a delightful treat, featuring fresh ingredients and plenty of options to start the day right.
However, service at the restaurant was notably slow, leading to extended wait times, which compromised the overall dining experience.
